Yucky Flakes

Most people say that the hair is the highest glory of women. But what if this hair has white flakes on them and it also shows in their shoulders? Would it still look stunning then?

That white flaky dots on the hair or shoulders is dandruff. This is the consequence if there’s flaking of dead skin on your scalp. This is not transmissible and it’s infrequently to be serious but it’s tough to get free of and of course, it’s slightly awkward.

Indications of dandruff are just essentially itchy scalp and white, oily looking flakes of dead skin that shows up on your hair and on your shoulders.

One reason why you have dandruff is dry skin. If you have dandruff, most probable, there are also other parts of your body that has dry skin. You may not have been cleaning your hair too frequently. Your scalp may also be subtle to the components of hair produces that may reason red, itchy scalp.

Seborrheic dermatitis or irritated oily skin is another reason of dandruff. This is defined as red oily skin covered with flaky white or yellow skin. This disturbs areas of the body rich in oil glands such as the eyebrows, back of your ears and side of your nose.

A yeast-like fungus called Malassezia that exists on scalps may also be the reason for your dandruff. It aggravates your scalp which roots more production of skin cells. The additional skin cells dies and falls off and seems white and flaky like dandruff.

To treat dandruff, you just have to brush hair from the scalp to the tips of your hair to remove extra oil and daily anti-dandruff shampoo.

For slight cause of dandruff, shampooing and using gentle cleanser daily can do the trick but for more serious ones, you may have to consult a dermatologist as they may prescribe medicated shampoo.
